Licensing a Production

Our licensing agreement is flexible and straight forward.

Type: Musical with original music, pre-existing public domain music and pre-existing copyrighted music with synchronization licenses in place.

Performance Time: 60 minute first act and 45 minute second act

Cast: 6 actors – 3 male and 3 female

Flavor: love of America – it tells the story of Minerva inspiring lyricists and songwriters who wrote iconic songs about American holidays and American values.

Partial geographic exclusivity – no other productions in similar size theatres in your geographic area within 6 months of your production.

Royalty: based on $.50 per seat for small theatre (up to 100 seats) or $.75 per seat for mid-sized theatre (101 – 500) seats or $1.00 per seat for large theatre (501 or more seats) – minimum of $500. Sample calculations:

Synchronization license fee – total of 4% of box office gross – to be shared equally (MFN) by the copyright holders of the seven copyrighted songs in the show.

Script and score: sent electronically

Flexibility: very high degree of flexibility with both script and score
